About Accoya®
Accoya® is produced by acetylating sustainably sourced radiata pine — permanently modifying the cell structure rather than adding a coating or preservative. The result is dimensionally stable (typically 75% less movement than untreated timber), resistant to rot and insect attack to Class 1 durability, and FSC® certified. It outperforms most tropical hardwoods in external applications and carries a 50-year above-ground, 25-year in-ground or freshwater warranty. The preferred specification for high-performance external windows and doors.
